A new look at the energy transition in Central Europe (2024)

The ORLEN Group has produced the first comprehensive report describing the pace and direction of the energy transition in the region. The analysis of the energy markets makes it possible to define the potential, but also shows the different conditions resulting from geopolitics and the level of prosperity, among other things. It is worth noting that Central Europe is becoming increasingly aware of the need for sustainable development and is endeavouring to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Investing in renewable energy sources and modernising energy infrastructure is a priority for many countries in the region.
